About Us

Wattle Creek Books is an Australian business operated by children's author Ronald Hart.

Our online bookshop sells paperback copies of Dangerous Creatures: Crazy Stories from Wattle Creek Primary School, written by Ronald Hart and illustrated by Craig Smith.

We are based in Queensland, Australia, and currently accept orders for delivery within Australia only.

By purchasing a product through our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, subject to your rights under Australian law.

Products and Availability

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, prices and availability information are accurate.

All books sold through our website are new unless otherwise stated.

Products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will contact you to arrange a suitable alternative or provide a refund.

We reserve the right to correct genuine errors in product information or pricing. If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you before proceeding.

Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST), where applicable.

Delivery charges are calculated during checkout and displayed before payment is completed.

Payments are securely processed through Squarespace Payments and its supported payment providers.

We do not directly collect or store complete credit card details.

Shipping and Delivery

We currently deliver physical books to addresses within Australia only.

Orders are shipped through Australia Post using Standard or Express delivery, depending on the option selected at checkout.

We normally dispatch orders within 1–2 business days after payment has been received, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Occasionally, dispatch may take longer due to circumstances beyond our control. If a significant delay occurs, we will endeavour to notify you.

Delivery times depend on the destination, delivery method and Australia Post's operations.

Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and are not guaranteed.

Shipping charges are calculated according to the total weight of the order and the delivery option selected.

Delivery Addresses

Please ensure that your delivery address and contact details are correct when placing an order.

If you notice an error after completing your purchase, contact us as soon as possible at hello@ronaldhart.au.

We will endeavour to correct the address before dispatch, but changes may not be possible once an order has been lodged with Australia Post.

Returns and Refunds

We want customers to be satisfied with their purchases.

Our Returns and Refunds Policy explains how we handle damaged, defective or incorrect books, missing deliveries and change-of-mind requests.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
